A. Sometimes we don't
receive
what we pray for because we pray for things that are not God's will to
give us. This is the confidence we have in 1 John 5:14
So let's pray in harmony with God's will. His will is revealed in the life and teachings of Jesus (John 6:38) and in the writings of the prophets and apostles (Acts 20:27). And, remember, we can't expect God to take our prayer requests seriously if we're knowingly clinging to sin in our lives: "If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened." Psalm 66:18
